I’m sharing this cozy in-home newborn session from back in February. The soft, sun-drenched wintery light was the cherry on top of this gorgeous in-home newborn session. If you want to know what a session with a Roswell newborn photographer looks like, take a peek at the below.
Can you believe that these images were taken during an in-home newborn session and not a studio? I mean, that light is just gorgeous! That is a perfect reason why you want to hire an experienced, Roswell newborn photographer for your session. I have many years of experience working in clients’ homes. I know how to find the light that will produce the very best images. And I’ll let you in on a little secret – its not as easy as it may sound!
I start every in-home newborn session by taking a look around your home by turning off artificial light and opening shutters and blinds to take a peek at the light. These new parents just moved into a new home, and the room I used for these images was full of random boxes and things they hadn’t unpacked yet – but you would never know, of course! All I need to produce images like this is a good window (ideally some sunshine!) and a little room for my stuff. Well, and a sleeping baby helps too!
This little boy’s name is Peter, and (you guessed it!) his nursery had a Peter Rabbit theme. It was adorable and the first room that the parents decorated in their new home they moved into before he was born. Take a look at the images above. You can see a few sweet rabbit themed items on the bookshelf behind mom. Mom borrowed her dress from my client closet, a beautiful dress by Nothing Fits But – a client favorite! This session was such a fun one to shoot, so take a peek at a few more images below!
